The industry is getting more efficient. ⭐We’ve been affected by false alarms since the beginning of the industry. And for a long time, we tried to reduce those manually. Now, we have technology and standards for the technology, and this has been brought to the authorities. And they can see we have the tools to reduce false alarms, which will help with increasing police response. ⭐It’s really important to deliver services that are valuable for everybody in the ecosystem: the authorities, the lifestyle users who want to check on their kids, and those wanting their home to be more secure. Deepal Mehta, Senior Director, Global Sales and Marketing, InnoPhase IoT ⭐An important consideration is to ask yourself if you’re enabling use cases that consumers want, but haven’t been there before because the technology wasn’t there yet? ⭐Replacing batteries multiple times throughout the lifecycle creates significant environmental issues, and it is a nightmare for the consumer to replace batteries every 3-6 months. Creating lower power use allows that to be extended for years and reduces the frustrations for consumers and our focus. ⭐Constant data communication takes a lot of energy. It’s important to go beyond just transactional data. ⭐How do we reduce the friction for players who want to work together? Focus on what the primary motivations are for managing energy, savings, and quality of life. Then we can channel that into the products, addressing those pain points. This is helpful with investors. ⭐New home buyers’ experience is where consumers will spend the most capital, $30,000 on average. So, help buyers understand the risk they are about to have, and how they can use the smart home for that risk. We can use generative AI to build an interactive report and inform buyers of what they can do. ⭐Generative AI allows us to interface with the customer, and to extract information.
