🚀 Super excited to share some news - the UNU-EGOV repositories are now live! 🌐 In the last nine months, my colleague Larissa Magalhães and I, with Cinara Rocha's and Catarina Madaleno's support, have put our heads together to design and implement this platform. The repository is an open knowledge platform to share e-gov innovations in different policy domains. We start with two pressing topics: e-gov solutions for emergencies and data governance. However, the repositories are open to collaboration, and we invite the e-gov community to use, share and publish content using this platform. Our team will share tips on using and collaborating with this initiative in the coming weeks. We invite you to register on the platform and explore the content. #openknowledge #repository #egov
📣 As part of the INOV.EGOV project, we are launching UNU-EGOV’s repository platform. This repository is a hub for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation in electronic governance. As such, we encourage global and local communities to participate and shape the future of #EGOV. 🌐 Introducing our two inaugural repository topics: 📍 EGOV for Emergencies 📍 Data for EGOV Access it here https://lnkd.in/dNwFnrFT #UNU

The first day of DICE (Digital Identity unConference Europe) in Zurich showed again how much the digital identity space in Europe is maturing. Here are some highlights of day 1 🚀👀 - 🇨🇭🪪 Beat Jans shared interesting insights on the Swiss eID during the opening. They plan to launch in 2026, and while the law has already been approved by the national council, the tech stack is still to be decided on (you can find the candidates on their technical roadmap https://lnkd.in/dbAYTtZc). - 🇪🇺🪪 As expected, the topic of eIDAS 2.0 still has everyone in its thrall. A lot of the unConference is expected to tackle topics surrounding it, like the ARF, EUDI wallets, the Large Scale Pilots, and generally how to achieve European interoperability. - 👔👩🏼💻 The first day of DICE focused mainly on governmental and business topics. Last year, the first edition of DICE was noticeably less tech-focused than its American counterpart IIW, so it will be interesting to see what the distribution is like between tech, government, and business topics during the unConference section of DICE this year! 🤔 Today and tomorrow will follow the unConference format and will offer a lot of insight into what topics everyone wants to discuss this year 🙌. Our guess is that Trust Frameworks will be a much-discussed topic, as everyone is currently figuring out how to work with them. From the Animo team Timo Glastra and Berend Sliedrecht are attending DICE, so if you see them, make sure to stop them for a chat! #DICE2024

Working on simplicity meeting compliance in combining artificial intelligence and digital trust services. Driving adoption of trustworthy identity proofing, electronic signature, verifiable credentials & more
🇪🇺🆔 Next tour stop for shaping the future of European Trust Services: Zurich🇨🇭 Following the entering into force of EU-Regulation 2024/1183 on establishing a framework for a European Digital Identity on May 20 we at Namirial have been engaging in many conferences in the last 4 weeks including our own Partner Campus in Athens, Money20/20 in Amsterdam and European Identity and Cloud Conference in Berlin. We have closely followed the conversations at Identity Week in Amsterdam, engaged in various industry working groups and catched up with political stakeholders individually on a national basis and, and, and … Exciting times. Long story short: No all of the input has been fully digested so far, however there is not just the need for some additional input but also to bring our expertise and network to the table in order to make this a real “working summer” as we are facing several challenges in making what’s known as “eIDAS 2.0” a real success. One of these challenges is to work on the first batch of the implementing acts. There are some things to be understood, clarified and sorted out. As the 2nd edition of the Digital Identity UnConference in Zurich is designed exactly for this purpose and to foster collaboration on the digital identity between governments, citizens, and companies across Europe it looks THE place to be this week. One month after the revision of EU Regulation 910/2014 on Electronic Identification and Trust Services went into force the workshop style gathering of movers and shakers in Zurich is promising to deliver some more progress. Guess we will also reflect on what has been working so far in the four Large Scale Pilots (Potential, NOBID Consortium, EU Digital Wallet Consortium (EWC), Digital Credentials For Europe) and what didn’t … as well as what we need to consider for the two that are currently up for tender = Identifying lessons learned and corresponding improvement suggestions / actions. I’m honored to be part of this exercise on behalf of Namirial in order to listen, learn - and wherever possible also to actively contribute. Time to pack the suitcase now. CU in Zurich for the June 19/20 workshop sessions to roll this 🎲 and happy to (re-)connect and identifying more option for collaboration in order to making this a highly productive summer ☀️ #eIDAS #eIDAS2 #EUDigitalIdentity #EUDIWallet #DigitalIdentity #DigitalIdentities #DigitalIdentityUnconference #DICE2024 #EIC2024 #EIC2025 #PartnerCampus24 #PartnerCampus25 #Money2020Europe

Vice Director Adam Lebech, from Digitaliseringsstyrelsen, delivered the opening keynote, which gained significant attention and led to an interview in Süddeutsche Zeitung. The resulting article is now available in their newsletter and offers an intriguing insight into Denmark's digitalization efforts, particularly focusing on the user-friendliness of Danish public applications. 📰☕ So if you're looking for some interesting weekend reading on digitisation, it's available to subscribers to the newsletter, which you can sign up to here: https://lnkd.in/egmYQqgX If you want to hear more about GovTech in Denmark, contact tech advisors Kyra Rahns or Ann Andersen. #dktech #dkbiz #govtech #digistaat24
