When was the last time you were asked if you were okay, and answered an honest no? 14th of September- ProQuest Consulting observed "R U OK" Day. It took the form of a simple gathering, some light office banter, and plans for the weekend. It was an opportunity to connect and reaffirm that sometimes all it takes is a listening ear to alleviate stress and gain a fresh perspective from a supportive team. At ProQuest Consulting, we believe that this mindset shouldn’t stay confined to a solitary day each year; but should be ingrained in our culture. DNA Experience Consulting Flex: Time-Off Check Tools, launched exclusively by and for our team! Understanding that members of a project-based work environment like ours sometimes need to proactively check up on their colleagues' availability, we have initiated a project team to find a suitable solution. After days of ideating, prototyping, and testing, we finally got two tools introduced to the whole company. My great pride, big applauses, and sincere thanks to anh Hoàng Đoàn and em Vy Nguyen ❤️ Attached photo: A snapshot of my instructions on how to use the two tools!

I'm celebrating my second week in #DTTP Co.Lab 🚀 joincolab.io . During the past week, my primary focus was on crafting my problem statement and designing a survey. This allowed me to delve deeper into aspects like the problem background, identifying the customer segment, and defining user stories. Additionally, this week, I dedicated my time to synthesizing research findings and creating a product specification. I would like to express my gratitude to my mentors, Hoda Torbati and Alexander W. Lee, who have been instrumental in my learning journey. From Hoda Torbati, I gained valuable insights on setting effective career goals using the SMART method, examining a real-life case study of someone who has achieved significant success in the product management field, and the practical exercise of formulating my own career goals. I also acquired knowledge about compensation and lifestyle considerations across different industries, companies, and roles. From my mentor Alexander W. Lee, I learned the importance of honing in on the problem at hand rather than prematurely seeking a single solution. Emphasizing the power of asking "why," I delved into understanding why the problem space is significant, why posing specific questions matters, and why I'm participating in #dttppm #productmanagement #youbelongintech Co.Lab 🚀 joincolab.io Sefunmi Osinaike Helen Huang 🥕

One Step Closer To 🎓 ! Incredibly excited to share the successful completion of our Final Year Project, Spoofify, A Hybrid Anti-Spoofing Facial Recognition System.🌟 The idea found its origination in a semester project for Technical Business Writing. Little did we know that it'll be the very thing we'll be doing our FYP on! 😄 I would like to thank my super dedicated, hard working and talented team members, Syeda Ravia Ejaz and Sabeerah Ahmad. Spoofify wouldn't be a possibility without the mutual efforts that this team put in. ✨🤝 I would also take this moment to extend gratitude to our supervisor, Dr. Farrukh Hasan Syed, whose unwavering support and guidance throughout helped us set the right direction to turn this idea into an actual product. 💡 A little about the project: Spoofify aims to provide advancement over conventional authentication methods like PINs, passwords, and fingerprints. Not only this but it also barricades fraudulent activities through a strong anti-spoofing mechanism. The authentication is based on a supervised learning approach using KNNs whereas the anti-spoofing is executed through GANs, an unsupervised learning method. 🔐

CEO @ Qualabs | Transforming Video Tech with Dedicated software engineering teams. - Passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership and education.
Lesson learned: "to know exactly when it's my turn to kick the ball 🦵⚽" (sorry for the terrible translation from a spanish expression) Today I want so share a lesson learned from Qualabs’ growth and our continuous structural changes and roles definition. Initially, we sought highly flexible roles, promoting collaboration and teamwork, and the sense that "no one wins unless everybody wins". And the truth is, everyone in this picture did an amazing job at that. We operate with Business Units that are accoutable for the value delivery for a set of clients as well as taking care of the engineering teams working for those clients. A BU is composed of a Delivery Manager, a Technical Manager, and a People Operations Manager. They, as a team, are responsible for the BU results. Something we've had to learn (and particularly myself), is the importance of having clarity in individual objectives. While teamwork and collaboration 🧩 are crucial, it’s equally vital for everyone to know their primary responsibility: what is it that I'm specially accountable for. It might sound simple or even obvious, but for us, as we were growing and figuring out what structure our strategy needed, it was a journey. We had to create roles and learn along the way. A significant learning this year has been ensuring that each person knows their role clearly while understanding that we must play as a team to win. No one wins if the team loses. No one wins if good people leave the company. No one wins if clients are unhappy, don’t renew their contracts, or don’t want to grow their relationship with us. So, the team’s success remains crucial, but personal achievements and the agility to own responsibilities are just as important. Business requires we remain lean! That’s why I want to pause today to thank 🙏 and congratulate 👏 this team, our management #team. Most of them have been with us for years, showing adaptability and trust, molding their roles to the evolving needs of Qualabs and their professional development. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you for your dedication, flexibility, and continuous efforts. Here’s to many more successful quarters together! We are building the future of #videotech together! 💪
