To all my Radio or IT connections looking for new opportunities, Zetron is hiring for a Project Engineer (Deployment Technician) with the ACOM Dispatch Team. I've only been with Zetron for about 6 months. The team is diverse and super easy to work with. It truly is a team. If you think you might be interested, message me and I'll be happy to share the good and the bad. Travel is required. I was told 1/3 of the time. It's been less than that so far, but really is project based. More hands makes lighter work. Comes with a company credit card so no direct cash out of pocket. Expenses are covered like typical company expenses. Most of our efforts are remote. If you live outside of Puget Sound, you'll likely have a little more travel during training. I have been tied at the hip with 2 of my co-workers and they are great for my training. Most of this is OJT. The manuals are good, but don't explain the edge cases and well, ACOM is all about the edge cases. YOU MUST be outgoing and assertive with a positive and teamwork mentality. YOU MUST be able to pass a background check that includes criminal and financial information which gets rechecked annually. YOU MUST be patient and willing to learn. YOU MUST be technically oriented. YOU DON'T need to know Zetron. YOU DON'T need prior console experience. We will teach you. Again, I'm happy to share with you what I can to aid in your researching Zetron. The customer base is crazy diverse. Zetron is a global company and our efforts may take us/you to new places around the world. From Public Safety to Airlines to Industry, Zetron does it all.
