#What_is (#ADR) #Alternate_Dispute_resolution_and_its_types?
ADR stands for Alternative Dispute Resolution. It's a way for disagreeing parties to settle their disputes outside of court. There are several different types of ADR, each with its own approach:
#Mediation: A neutral third party, called a mediator, facilitates a discussion between the parties to help them reach a mutually agreeable solution.
#Arbitration: A neutral third party, called an arbitrator, hears arguments and evidence from both sides, then makes a binding decision that's enforceable in court.
#Negotiation: The parties directly discuss and try to reach an agreement on their own, though sometimes with the help of a facilitator.
#Conciliation: Similar to mediation, but the conciliator may offer suggestions for settlement.
#ADR is generally faster and less expensive than litigation, and it can also help to preserve relationships between the parties.
