CEO at Whole Foods Market

Last week Whole Foods Market held our Annual Gathering, a time we come together to reflect on our learnings, celebrate successes from the previous year and discuss our vision for the future. I want to extend my heartfelt appreciations for the active participation of our Store Team Leaders and Store Support Team Members in attendance. The team’s connection and commitment to our Higher Purpose and Core Values were the heartbeat of the event.    We also inducted John Mackey, co-founder and former CEO of Whole Foods Market, into our Hall of Fame. There is no one who has had a greater or more meaningful impact on Whole Foods Market over the last 44 years than John. His legacy is a powerful reminder of the role each of us can play in nourishing people and the planet.   The discussions we shared at Annual Gathering are the seeds of tomorrow's success and are not possible without the genuine engagement of attendees. Thank you, team, for driving the meaningful conversations that will undoubtedly shape the future of our company.

It feels So Empowering just to Read such Strong & Uplifting Words, especially because when I initially 1st here to SoFlo, Never would I have imagined that such a Huge, All Natural, and above All-- 'Always Positive,!!' Of an entire crowd was what I would be encountering Each & Every Single time I would walk into it, even just to fill up My water bottle as an excuse excuse in order to then walk through the entire store, after my 45 minute Power Walk, and besides learning about such incredibly Natural products, from Produce to Cookies, Salmon as well as my All time favorite Ezekiel Bread, and of r or 4 different kinds!! Despite the fact that I haven't received a call back from them yet, since I applied online thru Linked In last week, I am definitely looking forward to follow up with them next week, as I most definitely See a huge potential in Rising at such a phenomenal Store such as Whole Foods!! ##They definitely ROCK!! ##Their POSITIVITY is Immediately FELT from the moment you walk through their doors!!

Exceptional reflection on the impact of shared values and commitment within a team! 🌱 Inspiring to see John Mackey honored for his significant contributions over the years. 🚀

Love the passion and the note, but just curious, if you just inducted John Mackey into the Whole Foods Hall of Fame… who could have been in it before John Mackey? LOL
