At Whole Foods Market, our Team Members are our biggest asset. Their connection to our vision and goals is what creates our shared sense of purpose, where everyone understands how their role contributes to our bigger picture of nurturing people and the planet. #TeamWFM #Fortune https://lnkd.in/gjqjJfF3
“Team members”, as you like to call us, are always the biggest asset, no matter the company/industry. In reality, though, we do not all share your sense of purpose, and many of us have no idea what your visions or goals are. Frankly, I’m speculating that much of your management team doesn’t even know what your vision is, nor do they care.
If you believe store employees are the company's "biggest asset", then WFM should be paying each of them enough to afford a modest one-bedroom apartment in the town in which they work. This is not the case in many places. Let's address this!
It's inspiring to see how Whole Foods Market prioritizes its team members as integral to achieving its overall mission. How do you maintain and enhance this sense of shared purpose across different teams?
Hm.
Inspiring!
Exactly how I run my Company Little Sombrero Salsa LLC coming back to all store chains is only able to do so by the Blessings of God and a shared understanding of Company Goals and Vision!
♥️ this Jason Buechel couldn't have said it better
Sounds like a great company to work with. I can’t say that I’ve ever heard a negative comment from a Whole Foods employee! Kudos to Whole Foods !

2wMost team members need to be reminded of their important contribution to purpose at every level. As with every corporation, team member happiness is a very significant cornerstone to success. We as leaders just have to "fire up" our base to adopt ownership, embrace purpose and share in the vision which will certainly equate to a positive environment that extends far beyond WFM doors, to their communities, and the planet.
