STORE PROMOTIONS ARE SHORT-TERM PROFITS ALL STORES HAVE BEEN ASKED TO USE HEALTHIER FOOD OILS AS THEY SAVE LIVES SAVING LIVES CUTS THE GOVERNMENT HEALTH BUDGETS by hundreds of billions. Healthier oils make SUSTAINABLE INCREASES IN PROFITS. They make MAKE BETTER QUALITY, YUMMIER FOOD. There is no downside to changing. Making the switch to healthier, 100% pure, non-GM, non-PHO, non-additive MonoUnsaturated oils and yummier food, a healthier environment will make bigger savings and profits. Shareholders should have been getting these profits since trans fats were banned. It's important to note that 144+ countries, including major global players (USA, UK, Canada, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau & China), have pledged since June 2023 not to use oils that can, will or do make trans fats, carcinogens and other unsafe chemicals that accelerate non-communicable diseases (NCDs). meati™ Foods eliminated 60 roles last week as part of a “structural reorganization,” a decision that affected nearly every part of the organization, a company spokesperson told Food Dive. Meati said the layoffs were necessary to focus on profitability and not a testament to the growth the company has seen for its products. “Meati is a young, disruptive company navigating uncharted territory... each of these factors requires us to regularly evaluate every aspect of our operations,” the person said. The staff reduction comes as the alternative protein maker launched an online shop to expand its national footprint and help it achieve its goal of becoming the U.S. market leader in plant-based meat by 2025.
