I'm excited to share that I've successfully completed an intensive Email Marketing Course, accredited by Google, thanks to Coursera’s exceptional learning platform. Throughout this journey, I delved deep into the strategic significance of email marketing within the broader digital marketing framework. I analyzed the intricate dynamics of PESTLE, SWOT, and SMART goals as they relate to email marketing. The course further reaffirmed my understanding of the diverse types of emails, what sets each type apart, and how to leverage them effectively. I also had the chance to test and play around with a variety of cutting-edge email marketing tools, gaining firsthand experience that will no doubt come in handy in the field. One of the standout aspects was learning the ins and outs of analyzing metrics and presenting data to stakeholders - a skill that's today more crucial than ever. I don't know who needs to hear this, but it's okay if your email marketing campaign didn't achieve the open rates you hoped for initially. Each campaign is a stepping stone. Analyze, adjust, and go again. Success is built on learning and persistence. If you're in learning mode - you're probably seeing a lot of fear about email marketing. I've seen that fear in SEO for over 10 years (SEO is Dead articles have been running around forever - but it's still alive and kicking). Email Marketing (like SEO) is not Dead. You just need to change your approach...and the time to change it is now. That being said, everything in the above lesson is true. Try -> Learn -> Adapt -> Learn Again -> Adapt again (etc. etc) What doesn't this apply to? I mean it's just like everything else. If you want to fail less, learn from experts & continue to train yourself, but bottom line it's okay to fail if you learn from it and try again. That's it.
