Happy World Green Building Week! This week, we proudly join hands with the global community to celebrate World Green Building Week under the banner of this year's theme #BuildingTheTransition. The network of over 75 national Green Building Councils (GBCs) calls on the property sector to accelerate the transition to secure an energy-efficient, regenerative and just future for all. It's remarkable to witness the combined efforts of the GBCs and their 46,000 members, all working to showcase how, with systems-change thinking and locally-rooted solutions, the transition to sustainable built environments is not just a vision but a tangible reality. As a building analytics software company, we're not just observing — we're actively participating, learning, and contributing to this movement. This week is World Green Building Week – which is a big one for us here at Content Coms.    Over 14 years ago, we set out on a mission to support the drive for better buildings and better places. Now, we have colleagues, clients, and connections that span the globe. Following our Net Zero, Naturally event, one of the hot topics to come from the discussion was ‘how to boost biodiversity in your real estate projects’. This resulted in five ways to enhance biodiversity in your real estate projects. Sustainability is at the heart of our community, and our beautiful tree canopy is a big part of that! 🌲 That's why our Tree Strategy aims to increase our tree canopy cover by 20% by 2045. To keep things even greener, we're partnering with Green Adelaide Green Adelaide and 18 other Adelaide councils to map tree cover, green spaces, built environment and urban heat across our cities. The results are in, and Prospect's tree canopy is currently around 16.5%, or a whopping 7.8 million sqm! This data is a game-changer! We'll use it to plant more trees, tackle heat issues, track past projects, and set even greener goals for the future. Curious how your street compares?
