I'd rather rather listen to Creed's greatest hits on repeat than be a CRO.
As sellers, we're often to led to believe that our #1 goal is to move up in the org chart.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, if you love the job of leadership.
I've met (and worked for) plenty of Sales leaders who are exceptional at it.
They care about their team first. They advocate for change, even if it puts a target on their back. They aren't the CROs spending their days hiding in their office, living in spreadsheets, barking about ARR/NRR/ABCDEFGRR, without doing anything to actually impact those metrics.
But, it is absolutely ok if that's not our path.
We can still lead. We can still drive change. We can still make a difference above and beyond achieving our quota.
In this episode of Alex Kremer's show, we talk about my path to unconventional leadership, ruffling feathers and driving change from the frontline, and creating an uncommon career path that lights you up.
It's not my typical podcast episode, because Alex isn't your typical host.
If you host a podcast, or are thinking about starting one, Alex is a master. Pay close attention to his side of this interview. He's one of the best I've come across.
