Yesterday at Citizens Energy Group we had the opportunity to tell our story, talk about our relationship with CEG, and network as part of their #XBEDiscovery initiative. Our presenters included not only the president of JQOL but also young inspectors who entered the industry only a year ago. We are truly grateful to CEG for giving us a chance over five years ago and being a contributor to our growth, and we look forward to continuing our partnership trajectory for many years to come - helping to Improve Quality of Life within the community. #QualityofLife

The inaugural Business Hunter Energy Transition Mini-Series was implemented this morning and BG&E Resources (BGER) were proud to be involved. The #energytransition is one of the most complex challenges of the modern era. However, there are a lot of innovative initiatives being embraced and new industries emerging, to help heavy-industry #decarbonise. In addition to #innovation, the other sentiment that is being fostered by many industry leaders in Newcastle and the Hunter region, is #collaboration. It sounds simple enough but it rarely occurs with the same level of goodwill and encouragement, as is occurring in this thriving regional hub. Collaboration across industry and government at a hyper-local level is vital to bringing projects from planning to FID, more rapidly. Thank you to the panelists for contributing to this Business Hunter event, your insights were invaluable. * Captain Philip Holliday (Chief Executive Officer, Port Authority of New South Wales) * Thomas Hansen (Project Director, Equinor Australia) * Paul Hastie (General Manager, Orica) * Leigh Kennedy (General Manager, Industry & Supply Chain Development Australian Hydrogen Council) * Kate Hartness (Director, ESG at BGER) - Moderator. Together, the panel explored the region’s plans to: diversify and embrace an increased number of emerging industries; accelerate the development of hydrogen and renewables; and, continue decarbonising hard-to-abate local industries. The panel also unpacked clever ways to: * reduce emissions in major infrastructure assets, such as ports; * develop NSW' first offshore wind farm in the Hunter Offshore Wind Zone; * bring an ammonia nitrate plant to market; * deploy sustainable water management; * truly integrate vertical supply chains; * power our future ports; and * navigate through the Commonwealth and the State regulatory regimes. A bright future awaits Newcastle, the Hunter and the Central Coast, and BGER is looking forward to contributing. Severn Trent Green Power is excited to announce we’ve been given the go-ahead by the Competition and Markets Authority to complete our proposed acquisition of Andigestion Ltd. The acquisition will bring an additional 45GWh of energy generation output every year and will give STGP new reach into Southwest England covering major cities such as Bristol, Gloucester and Exeter, in turn helping more businesses to process and recycle their food waste into renewable energy. Christer Stoyell, Managing Director of STGP, said: “We welcome today’s decision by the CMA concluding its Phase 1 investigation and providing STGP with the clearance to complete its acquisition of the Andigestion portfolio. "This acquisition will improve localised competition and expand the geographical coverage of our market-leading operations. We are extremely excited to welcome all incoming employees into the Green Power business. Pursuit of Excellence, Created methodologies that led companies earning ISO Certification for 25 years | Driving Business Forward with ISO, Let's talk Systems
With the known ESG targets, I Liked what Marcus says "✔ Emergence of revised standards, de-facto standards and guidelines* will have direct and long-term market implications, with the common goal of accelerating #decarbonization and #impact. *Watch this space closely and engage in the World Resources Institute #GHGP Scope 2 Guidance revision and Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) call for evidence on effectiveness of use of #EACs in corporate climate targets". ISO 14001 the Environmental Management System standard is beneficial for companies to earn certification to.
