Prepping last night for session #1 of my UCLA Extension course on educational innovations! The students are trainee teachers visiting from China. First stop we’ll be doing a deep dive into how people learn! A critical consideration in thinking about and implementing innovations is figuring out what problem you’re trying to solve and how can we apply learning science-based practices to address it. And (I didn’t set this up), I love seeing Ludmila Praslova, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, Âû, Ellen Taaffe, Tony Martignetti, Kim Scott, and other favorite authors featured all in one powerful stack!!! #learningscience #learningishard #innovation
Thank you for reading!
Wow, I’m honored to see The Mirrored Door in this amazing stack of favorite books. Thanks Julia Phelan for the shout out and showing me that I’m not alone in how I prep to teach my classes. Love the photo!
Wow - Julia Phelan - this looks like a super interesting course based on powerful literature. The scientific part of me loves learning based on scientific practices.
Oh I’d love to hear your wisdom!!
