On my way to New Mexico to join those helping with the deadly, widespread wildfires. After recombobulating, I met another Milwaukee Red Crosser also en route, on her first deployment. And on our connecting flight to Roswell, there are lots of Red Cross logos on the people in the seats. Lots of unknowns right now, but it's encouraging to see people turn out for those in need. Save the huzzahs and all that in the comments (but know I appreciate you). Instead, I'd ask you read a few of the news and Red Cross updates below. Latest from the Red Cross response, including how you can help and let people know how to stay safe: https://lnkd.in/gMQaPPzw Albuquerque Journal photos of the fires and response: https://lnkd.in/ga8B7cMM The weather risks and range of unknowns, from NYT: https://lnkd.in/gptDapQu
Saving my huzzah for when I see you in July. Be safe and help a lot of people.
