2 weeks ago I celebrated my 8th anniversary at Anyline Here are some learning for everyone, who isn't sure if he/she/they is qualified enough for a job or company. My journey so far was quite a roller coaster. From a team of 15 to team of 100, from internship to leading a team. There will be never an easy, linear way within your career - but exactly this makes it exciting. These are my learnings so far from my 8 years journey: 11.2015 Internship Design & Marketing It took me 3 weeks to apply for this internship, because I didn't know anything about OCR, SDK, or the software business overall and wasn't sure if I fit. Learning: If you don’t try, you will never now. 02.2016 Product Designer After 3 months of internship, the team saw my potential and hired me. It didn’t matter that I didn’t know about our products when I started, but it did matter that I was highly motivated to learn about it and contribute to the companies success. Learning: A really good leader sees your potential and supports it. 01.2017 Brand Manager My passion was always in branding and creating awareness. With the culture we have at Anyline I talked to my team lead and I got the possibility to develop myself further. Learning: There will be no change, if you don’t speak up for yourself. 01.2019 Senior Brand Manager I started to have a small team of designers and event managers and started to do less design by myself, as I realised my strengths are within other areas. Learning: Accept your strengths & weakness. 03.2020 VP of Branding Strategy My contribution was recognised and I got a promotion to VP of Branding Strategy Learning: Resilience and loyalty will pay off (most of the time) 05.2021 VP of Strategic Partnership Due to some restructuring a new opportunity was offered to me and I decided to develop in a different direction, by leading our strategic partnerships. In this 12 months I learned so many new things, that I was a bit scared about: like working on 100 pages of legal contracts Learning: Try new things - the time is never lost as you gain new experience. 07.2022 Head of Awareness Marketing After 1 year within a new area, I realised my heart still beats for branding and creating awareness. And thankfully there was another door opening within Anyline for my next step. Learning (all of the above) - My team lead saw my strength & potential - I spoke up for myself & addressed my need - I gained new experience, which helps me in my new role - I accepted that my strengths lies within branding & awareness If you are wondering, what I'm exactly doing today, you can watch my 60 seconds video

We are filled with excitement as we consider the strengths and opportunities that lie ahead of our staff. Our greatest assets are our employees - a group of talented individuals who have contributed to our success and will continue to play a crucial role in shaping our future. ⁠We connected with Keegan Bunt about how he feels about the future of the firm.  ⁠*What do you see in the future for your professional growth here? ⁠"Endless knowledge. With how the firm is structured I can work on a new type of project almost daily, with that I am constantly learning new things."⁠  *What has been the most valuable lesson you have learned so far? "⁠Work doesn’t have to be something you endure or dread. With the right environment and people it can be the highlight of your day."

It's flown and been the most stressful year of my life. Even more stressful than COVID, Zoom schooling, husband starting his business, dying parent, switching schools a third time. There is nothing like the stress of doing your own thing and putting yourself out there. Your name. Your reputation. And decimating your family's income while working 7 days a week. It's soul crushing at times. And then it's joyous an hour later. It's psychotic. And of course I wouldn't change it for the world. We've helped so many women already. Cried with them. Laughed together. We know about their stress at work. We've helped them get their resumes together. Found them marital counseling. Psychologists for their kids. Someone to de-clutter their homes. Assisted living for dad. Squeezed them in for a faster doctors appointment due to a scare. We know their struggles and their anxiety. And we know they're just like us. We've also helped them throw countless birthday parties. Graduation parties. Go on anniversary trips. Plan travel to see Taylor Swift in concert with their daughters. Send food to a sick friend. Surprise friends with flowers. Book beach houses for their extended families. Get dog trainers for their new puppies. We've helped them make memories and celebrate this crazy thing called life. We've also helped them with the mundane. Meal planning. Laundry. Childcare. Tutors. Roof leaks. Faucet leaks. Door locks. Car repairs. The real un-sexy stuff of adulting that still has to get done even though you're stuck in a meeting. I've made lots of mistakes in the past year including one really big one that I'll forever carry forward with me as we grow this company. But you learn more from the mistakes than the successes especially when you are the one who personally made them. I'm sure there are many more I've made and just haven't realized it yet. Many more to come if I'm lucky enough to keep doing this. Thank you to those who have supported me this past year. Some publicly. Some privately. Some checking in on me by text. Since September 1, 2018, I have been at DirectTrust as President and CEO - and the time has flown by.  As I take stock now, we have grown four times bigger by most measures. The number of Direct Secure Messages sent and received per quarter has gone from about 50 million to over 200 million.  Our network has grown from fewer than 1 billion transactions cumulatively, and recently passed 4 billion.  Our team is 4 times bigger, as is our annual budget. I am so proud of our accomplishments.  We became an ANSI accredited standards development organization, acquired SAFE Identity, and this year, merged with the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission (EHNAC).  I have long made it clear to my Board that we wanted to pivot to a focus on TRUST while driving the use and usability of Direct.  Today we offer multiple services to our members and the industry including accreditation, HITRUST assessment and technical trust services for Direct Secure Messaging, Carequality, eHealth Exchange, and TEFCA.  We collaborate with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), CMS, HHS, WEDI , The Sequoia Project, CommonWell Health Alliance, Civitas Networks for Health, CARIN Alliance, and many more organizations as well as our members. Our membership today is extremely diverse beyond even the HIT companies, payers and providers in the healthcare sector to include app companies, social care organizations, and identity companies.   Our standards efforts include work to enable sensitive information exchange within the community even beyond healthcare. We are engaging with cloud fax vendors to establish standards for trustworthy exchange of data by fax. We are working with the remote online notaries to enable trusted communication of health documents.  We are building out new accreditation programs to improve trust in the consumer health application ecosystem to add to our portfolio of accreditations that assess compliance for nearly 100 healthcare companies large and small.  You should watch us, we are just getting started!
