Tendeka's FloSure AICDs (Autonomous Inflow Control Device) Improved Oil Production, Reduced Gas Oil Ratio and delayed water breakthrough in a 9 well campaign. The project delivered the following results: - Higher cumulative oil production of ~2MMSTB attributable to using AICDs. - 50% oil production increment in AICD wells vs ICD wells - up to 50% GOR reduction observed in AICD wells. - Saved $3M in screen costs by retrofitting AICDs in existing ICD screen stock Modelling was performed to optimise the AICD completions, this resulted in reduced WC and GOR, bringing the production to within the surface facilities handling constraints and enhancing the overall ultimate recovery from the asset. Ecolomondo Corporation, a cleantech company specializing in the commercialization of its Thermal Decomposition Process (“TDP”) proprietary recycling technology and the global deployment of TDP turnkey facilities, announces that Reactor 1 of its 2-reactor TDP plant in Hawkesbury, Ontario, has been certified by Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA) for the use of the syngas (process gas) produced from TDP production cycles as the energy source to fire up reactors. The company obtained the immediate approval of TSSA, the Ontario authority in such matters, to allow the use of syngas as the regular energy source for Reactor 1. BiSN Achieves Major Milestone in Supermajor's Irish Sea CCS Initiative   We are proud to announce that BiSN has successfully deployed the first wel-lok™ operation for a major CCS project in the Irish Sea, managed by a leading supermajor operator. This critical step marks the beginning of a series of operations aimed at preparing the Liverpool Bay Area (LBA) fields for carbon capture storage.   This project, with an expected duration of at least five years and valued at over £1 billion, involves multiple fields, each of which must be effectively sealed and abandoned to meet stringent standards before transitioning to carbon storage.   wel-lok™ technology played a key role in addressing the first of many challenges on the first well, known for its complex conditions. The successful sealing sets a robust precedent for subsequent operations across the fields.   As we proceed, our technology will also be critical in adapting existing wells for CCS. Many wells currently feature small-bore tubing and compromised casing, requiring extensive modifications, including side-track drilling, to accommodate the necessary infrastructure for carbon gas injection.   The future stages of the project will involve reversing the flow system, allowing carbon gas to be injected back into the formation. #Technip Energies and #Turner Industries Awarded Contract by ExxonMobil for Louisiana Carbon Capture and Sequestration Project: The contract covers ExxonMobil Low Carbon Solutions’ plans for the delivery of a Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS) system that could condition, compress, and transport, for eventual storage, up to 800,000 metric tons per year of CO2 from a manufacturing plant located in Convent, Louisiana, and owned by Nucor Corporation, North America’s largest steel producer and recycler. The Nucor manufacturing site produces direct reduced iron (DRI), a raw material that is mixed with recycled scrap at Nucor steel mills, which make higher grades of steel products, including automobile parts, household appliances, and tools and machinery. The CCUS system is designed to enable the Nucor facility to produce DRI with up to 80% less greenhouse gas emissions than traditional blast furnace iron production. #ExxonMobil selected Technip Energies to perform the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and together with Turner Industries worked to solidify the EPC execution approach.
