Why Agile/Scrum methodology is failing in most companies and how to fix it? Agile is not a silver bullet or an instant solution to all project management problems, yet many companies make the mistake of treating it that way. They hire agile coaches, train their teams in Scrum, and implement agile methodologies without really understanding the principles behind it. This is where the problem lies. Agile is not just about following a set of rules, ceremonies, and practices. It's about fostering a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement. It's about empowering your teams to take ownership of their work and deliver value to customers. If your agile implementation is not delivering the results you expect, maybe it's time to take a step back and ask yourself why. Why did you decide to go agile in the first place? What are the business goals you're trying to achieve? How can agile principles help you achieve those goals? The answers to these questions will guide you in fixing your agile implementation and making it work for your company. It's not about following a one-size-fits-all approach, but about adapting agile to your specific needs and context. So, next time you're tempted to blame agile for your project management woes, remember that it's not the methodology that's failing, but your understanding and implementation of it. Fix that, and you'll see the benefits of agile in action.
