According to the German Bundesnetzagentur, 30.035* new charging stations were installed in Germany until September 2023. The majority of these new charging stations are public, but private charging stations for corporate fleets are also on the rise. We at FUSO like that fact in particular because charging infrastructure is crucial to foster eMobility. Our Next Generation eCanter will benefit from the new charging stations. It will be interesting to see when this technology is mature enough to spread over to smaller vehicles. I am one of the many drivers who reverted from EV back to petrol, being fed up with the waiting times while on longer trips. #sustainable_mobility

Battery-electric vehicles are rapidly on the rise. The July 2023 data from SMMT, the UK’s main source of data on the motor industry, tells us there are over 840,000 fully electric vehicles now on our roads. This is a tremendous increase from 30,000 just six years ago. The UK’s switch to electric driving continues to speed on, with more than 265,000 new registrations in 2022, according to Zapmap. I believe Megawatt Charging System (MCS) is crucial due to following three aspects: 1) Rapid Charging:MCS facilitates high-capacity charging, enabling swift charging of heavy-duty electric vehicle, minimizing downtime. 2) Standardization:Establishing a uniform standard ensures interoperability, increasing a consistent and reliable charging experience across diverse charging infrastructures. 3) Grid/ battery ntegration:MCS promotes efficient integration with power grids/ battery , optimizing energy distribution and supporting the scalability of megawatt-level charging networks.

With a share of 16.4%, we are the undisputed leader of the European electric bus market after the first six months of 2023. In the first six months of 2023, a total of 2567 electric buses were registered in Europe, of which as many as 421 were Solaris vehicles. This gave our company the first place in this segment with a share of 16.4% and allowed us to overtake the next manufacturer on the list by over 6 percentage points.
