You asked for it, so here it is... Emergence released our Beyond Benchmarks report last week, and many founders reached out to share that they were surprised to see median and even top quartile companies were not growing as fast as they would have guessed. Our dataset of over 600 companies was compiled mostly from seed stage investments which means they are not necessarily indicative of what a top quartile or top decile company's metrics look like at a successful Series B or Series C. At later stages, top decile is probably a better estimate of what the median metrics look like for a company that is getting funded at that point in time. So without further adieu, here are the top decile metrics for the Emergence Core Four.
