One of my biggest gripes with working with Node.js was having to deal with the bajillion compilers, transpilers, compilers, package managers, config files, etc. needed to get a proper app running. But Bun is an all-in-one toolkit that takes care of all of those things AND is exponentially faster than Node.js! It's unreal. I might never go back to how I built apps before. Also, they win the award for cutest mascot. Just look at that lil bun :) https://bun.sh/

The most holistic #NestJS project template is born. It even combines #NestJS with #tRPC! 🤯 A NestJS community member created a new starter project called Ult. While most NestJS templates only provide the backend component, Ult offers a more holistic approach using a mix of #NestJS, #Prisma, #tRPC, #NextJS, and #Tailwind. Do you need a secure and type-safe backend? ✅ NestJS has you covered! Do you want to connect to a database but don't want to write SQL by yourself? ✅ Prisma to the rescue! Do you need a beautiful UI with components on the web? ✅ Next.js (#React) and Tailwind will definitely give you some options (Tailwind UI, for example) Wait! Now you need to securely connect the types of your separated backend and frontend apps?! ✅ Hey! No sweat, tRPC has you covered! If anything, this template is one of the most holistic I've come across. However, it's also in its infancy. Give the repository some love by visiting and leaving a star 💫: https://lnkd.in/gen7ZAYx To learn more about the starter template, you read the official announcement by the author: https://lnkd.in/gSRXAicG

🎣 Hooked on React Hooks! 💻⚡️ Just ventured into the realm of React Hooks, and the way they simplify state management and lifecycle handling is a game-changer! 🚀✨ Hooks? Hooks in React are special functions that allow functional components to have features that were traditionally exclusive to class components. They enable you to use state and lifecycle features in a more straightforward and concise way. The most common hook is useState, which lets functional components manage their own state. useState()? useState is a function in React that lets you add state to your functional components. It allows you to keep track of information that can change over time, like a number of clicks or the content of a text input, without needing to convert your component into a class.
