"Teamwork makes the dream work." This quote is often attributed to John C. Maxwell, a well-known leadership expert and author. It highlights the power of working together to achieve shared goals and dreams. This saying takes life when there is an event under the auspices of Impact Production Group. For this gala dinner, at Long Beach Hotel in June 2023, from the smallest detail to the fireworks, our dedicated team took care of everything and as a result, it was hassle-free for the client. An immense feeling of gratitude for our team members, our clients, and the Long Beach Hotel... it was true teamwork once again. Nothing more to add. 📞 2331904 📧 admin@ipg.mu 🌐 www.ipg.mu #GalaDinner #Teamwork #ClientSatisfaction #EventSuccess #IPGMauritius #IPG #ImpactProductionGroup #EventProduction #Mauritius #Celebration #CorporateFunction #EventMagic #ClientSatisfaction #EventDesign #EventExpertise #Eventcoordinator #Experientialevents #CreativeSolutions #EventAmbiance #EventPlanning #Sunlife #LongBeachResort #FYP #TikTokViral #IncentiveTravel #CorporateEvents #LuxuryTravel #EventPlanning #CorporateGala #ClientFocused #EventSuccess

Excited to share insights from our recent Athennian CX Summit! 🚀 Last week, our Customer Experience team gathered in Florida, with some joining in-person and others virtually, from around 11 locations across North America. Here are some key takeaways: 🎯 Aligned Priorities: We had a task to pinpoint the most pressing challenge facing our department and propose solutions. Surprisingly, without any prior communication between different teams, we all independently identified the same challenge during our presentation time. This synchronized alignment allowed us to hit the ground running, and we immediately jumped into solutions. Had this been conducted virtually, the process could have stretched over a couple of months as we navigated the complexities of aligning the perspectives of more than 20 individuals. 👥 In-Person Collaboration: While I appreciate the conveniences that new technologies offer for virtual connections, nothing quite compares to the experience of building relationships in person. The summit provided an amazing opportunity to connect with colleagues face-to-face, meet new faces and engage in real, meaningful conversations. We showed how easy it is to fix a problem when multiple people jump to help, bringing diverse perspectives. But also, meeting someone in person allows you to connect on a personal level, not just as colleagues, but as friends too. 🤝 💼 Employee Experience (EX): Early this year for the first time I heard about the official correlation between CX & EX and how valuable it is. Understanding how the satisfaction and engagement of our employees directly influence the experiences of our customers has fundamentally shifted my perspective. It shows how important it is the prioritization of EX initiatives alongside CX efforts, recognizing that a positive employee experience lays the foundation for exceptional customer experiences. Big shout out to the organizing team: Carlos RamosKatie RobitailleAndrew de Jesus Malicia Basdeo 🙏 Remember, happy employees equal happy customers, and vice versa. Let's keep working together to create exceptional experiences for all! #CXSummit #TeamWork #EmployeeExperience #CustomerExperience
Our CX team at Athennian across the US and Canada met in sunny Florida for our annual summit! It was a week of bonding, professional, and personal growth through fun, interactive activities. They also enjoyed exploring the local culture with cuisine, music, entertainment, and a few rounds of Top Golf. #teambuilding #professionaldevelopment #athennian

Last week, I had the pleasure of leading the incredible team of dedicated professionals and hilarious human beings which make up MENA Rights Group through what I can only describe as a transformative team retreat. I say transformative as much for me as for them. Seeing their courage in sharing and connecting, diving deep into their challenges and dreams, focusing as seriously on their mental health and team-work as they do on the crucial documentation and human rights work they do... It was inspirational, deeply gratifying, and strengthened me in my certainty that what the approach of combining "inner work" (team-collaboration, boundary setting, self-leadership, conflict and tension work, communication, etc) with the "outer work" (strategy, structuring, roles and responsibilities, impact measurement, etc) we have at Purpose+Motion is a key ingredient to building sustainable, regenerative organisations which have massive impacts on the global issues we are facing. #ProudCoach #Transformation #Retreats
Last week, we spent a couple of days in the south of France, during which we got to connect as a team and strategize for the future. After 5+ years of existence, it was our first-ever retreat. It's easy to get swamped in our busy day-to-day, but it's also essential to give ourselves some time to step back and reflect. Led by our coach Michael Romig, we got to know each other, strengthened our team's trust, well-being and performance, learned about self-leadership and functioning autonomously. We also want to thank Château l'Escarelle for hosting us in such a serene environment!

Wimbledon, the British Grand Prix and the Paris Summer Olympics, this month sees many sporting events gracing our screens. It is always a delight to see athletes perform at their best and see years of hard work come to fruition. Just like in the workplace, setting goals, tracking progress and reviewing performance on an ongoing basis plays a significant role in their success. Sports professionals are constantly under pressure to perform to the highest standards and achieve the best results. By reflecting objectively on how they are performing, athletes can improve tactical thinking, decision-making and confidence. Similar to leaders in the workplace, effective coaches use evidence as feedback for what their team members have done successfully and identify areas to be worked on for development. From training setbacks to taking on board feedback from their coach, if you are tuning in to one of the many sports events this month, take a moment to reflect on the journey the athletes would have been on to get to this point. What sport will you be following? https://lnkd.in/eWhDZsdk #WorkplacePerformance #WorkplaceFeedback

Last June, at the World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary, Anita Alvarez; the two-time Olympian finished her free solo routine, passed out and sunk to the bottom of the pool. Looking across the pool, her coach, Andrea Fuentes, noticed she was under too long and without hesitation jumped in fully clothed pulling her up to safety. Anita was fully unconscious and had no way to kick to the surface and save herself. And if her coach hadn't known her as well as she did, she certainly would have drowned. When I saw this story, I asked myself: When you are under too long, who are the people who will pull you to the surface when you lose your strength? Are you surrounding yourself with those who pay attention and put others first? Do you lead by example? And can someone count on you to provide that needed strength when they don't have it? Jim Rohn's famous quote “You Are The Average Of The 5 People You Spend The Most Time With”, is not just in your personal life, it is all encompassing. If you're a leader, hire people who emulate the traits you respect and can do the same for others on the team. Choose an employer that stands for something important to you. We have choices, lead and live by example.

Driving the Future of Real Estate in Africa through Innovative Technology Solutions | Team Leader & Co-founder at Enyumba
If you are in the area, you don't want to miss Paul Kirungi's presentation at the 35th Annual UNAA convention and Trade Expo in Dallas. His entrepreneurial insights are truly remarkable. Working alongside him has been a privilege - he fearlessly challenges the status quo and competes with the big players with both confidence and strategy. One valuable lesson I've learned from him is that startups should position themselves the same way their big boys counterparts do! That means offering service over and above the big boys, it also means that where the big boys set up shop, as a startup in the same domain you will be right next to them. Let's embrace the mantra of pushing boundaries! 🌟 #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #Boundaries #Inspiration

Do you know when you have been under too long? Do your know when a person around you or on your team had been down too long? I thought this story was worth sharing. #workplace #leadership #change #cipd #acmpuk

Director Clinical Operations | Clinical Operations innovator and strategist | Driving Excellence in Global Healthcare | All aspects of Clinical Operations and developing safe, effective, and innovative medicines.
Another inspiring story from personal life that we can learn from as leaders and colleagues. It's our example actions that tell others who we are. How did you handle a situation or how did you lift up those that needed it? Are you in a company or do you hire people that give strength to others by example, or is it only the goal as a value and behavior? Let this be a reminder that we have opportunities every day to elevate those around us whether physically like in this story, or more symbolically when we should be stepping in to support those that need our strength. We have all seen the power of leading by example.
