Unsilence the crowd! An absolute triumph in sport inclusivity today at St James' Park, as we witness the launch of "Unsilence the Crowd" a collaboration between Sela, RNID and Newcastle United. Inside the stadium, deaf and hearing-impaired fans wearing specially designed shirts will experience the game like never before - equipped with technology that converts the noise and atmosphere of the stadium into real-time touch sensations. These sensations are transmitted through a series of vibrations initiated by flashing blue lights embedded within the fabric of shirts. This remarkable gesture is part of a broader effort to support the approximately 12 million people in the UK who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus. It's not just about enhancing the match-day experience for me it's about breaking barriers and enriching lives. This is an example of businesses collaborating together to better the lives of fans and their unique needs. This just shows how technology can bring us closer together, making the excitement of a live game accessible to all. I hope this inspires more clubs and organisations to think innovatively about accessibility and inclusion. As we look towards the Paris Olympics, set against the backdrop of today’s global challenges, it’s clear that the spirit of the Games continues to evolve, embodying both the triumphs and trials of our times. The upcoming exhibition in Paris, "Olympic Games: Mirror of Our Societies," is a testament to the enduring power of sport to reflect, and sometimes challenge, the currents of our world. It delves into the original pacifist intentions of the Games while unflinchingly examining their use as platforms for propaganda, and venues for voicing the pressing issues of race discrimination, sexism, and more. Let's face it ➡ if you don't have a box-office name like Messi, LeBron James or Zmarzlik, the game itself might not be enough to keep those seats filled night after night. 🛑 Legia Warsaw from PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa S.A. is aware of this and once again the club elevated the pre-match show to the highest, world-class level. What's worth noting: ➡ the STRATEGY 💢 Symbolic foundation:  The show featured iconic elements for the club, such as the emblem, the year of foundation (1916), the anthem, the Zygmunt III Waza's Column. 🏙 City references:  The presentation included a depiction of the city's districts, along with their administrative outlines, which is consistent with Legia's strategy of engaging in promotional activities in the districts. 💱 Business coherence:  There are strong indications that the exceptional visual spectacle was part of a partnership / sponsorship deal with #philips. In the match announcement, Legia Warsaw mentioned in "small print" that the match was sponsored by #Ambilight TV. And Philips' visual system is actually celebrating its 20th anniversary. ◾ Coincidence? Tomasz Zahorski will surely be able to confirm / deny this 😎 Great work, Legia Warszawa. 🏅 It sets a high standard for other clubs to follow.

This review of the Messi Experience in Miami is an interesting article which raises a number of questions around visitor attractions of the future. What subject matters will be of interest? Only that which is already familiar? ( such as celebrities or famous artists). What does this mean for engaging audiences with subjects that are not familiar - the more traditional role of museums in the past. Technology now allows successful exhibitions and attractions to run concurrently all over the world and is no longer reliant on having the original artefact in place. What role will original artefacts play in the future; if any? I recently visited the small Avicii Experience in Stockholm. An amazing experience which was a mixture of original artefact, immersive technology, hands on interactive moments and also did not shy away from discussing mental health and death by suicide ( and in another trend, had no staff, was all self-service).

Sports vs. Arts? Or Arts and Sports… I came across an article that highlights how the arts and sports have come together in the Olympics over the years. These two worlds truly enhance each other, bringing out the best in human creativity and physical achievement. Whether it’s through a dance or a sprint, the pursuit of excellence can take many exciting forms. Sometimes students may attach themselves to an identity as being solely good at sports or arts… How can we support these students to participate broadly in arts and sports whilst also maintaining a high standard of focus and excellence in their pursuits?
