Make the most of the Graduate School Fair by having a game plan. What information will help you make an informed decision about the schools you want to apply to? Here are ten questions that you can ask representatives to help you in your search: 1. What is the admissions selection process/timeline? 2. What advice would you give someone who wants to apply to your school/department? 3. Are standardized examinations required? If so, what are they? 4. What are you looking for in a resume, CV, or portfolio? 5. What are the programs’ areas of expertise? 6. Do you offer thesis and course-based programs? 7. Do you offer multidiscipline or cross-discipline degrees? If so, what kinds? 8. Do you offer financial assistance for students? 9. What additional experience (volunteer, internship, work) do I need to be competitive? 10. Do you provide career services for graduate students? If so, what are they? Our Graduate School Fair will be held next Wednesday, October 4, from 10 am - 3 pm in the multipurpose room (building 6, cafeteria). See you there!
