【Will Mexico replace China as the largest manufacturer exporting to the United States?】 As the largest manufacturer and exporter of the United States for a long time, China has played an important role as "the world factory" in the global supply chain. However, after the decline in China–United States relations, trade restrictions between the two sides caused the global supply chain to begin to fluctuate. From January to May- this year, the imports of U.S. from China went down about 25% compared to last year, reaching their lowest level for 20 years. During the same period, U.S. imports from Mexico grew to $195 billion, the highest record in history. ⚠️ A systemic shift is underway for US imports. Made in China is in decline. 📉 There’s a new competitor for America’s #1 🏆 import source. Can you guess who? At the end of 2015, China accounted for nearly 25% of all US imports. Well, well, well. How the turntables... ⭕ Mexico has become America’s preferred choice for imports, accounting for 16% of US imports over the past 3 months. 🟠 The Change: With Mexico becoming a more prominent supplier of US imports, it disrupts the existing China-centric pattern of supply chains, logistics, and distribution networks. Why the Change? Companies and businesses in the US have identified that importing from Mexico can lead to: 👉 lower shipping costs 👉 reduced transit times & TTM (time to market) 👉 simplified logistics & increased process control 👉 enhanced quality control 👉 intellectual property protection 👉 competitive labor costs The Implication: Companies may begin to favor locations closer to the Mexico-US border. Why this Matters to You: The increase in imports from Mexico may lead to new opportunities for investors. 📈 Industries that rely on space for… 👉Manufacturing 👉Logistics & Storage 👉Warehouse & Distribution May require additional space near the U.S.-Mexico border and interior sites along their transport routes. 🚛 I want to know—have you heard about this shift? How do you see it impacting investors and the demand for industrial space? {See the comments for the photo & data source!} #realestate #financialfreedom #syndications #investing
