We’re really excited to announce we have now received charity status for the Fix Radio Foundation.
Our brand has grown far beyond our expectation. What has become clear on the journey is that we’re part of a community that faces challenges (mental health, tool theft, skills shortages to name a few).
We’ve decided as a brand we want to help. We aim to do this via our content and our amazing presenters. However, we want to take this even further….
We’re now going to be sharing a proportion of our profits into the foundation with the ultimate aim of making a positive difference to the community we’re in.
We’re also going to be inviting our commercial partners & even those more privileged in the community to stand alongside us, knowing that a problem shared is a problem halved.
Our giving will be split across the following areas of the community:
👉🏼 Next Generation
👉🏼 Now (current workforce)
👉🏼 Never Forget (retired tradespeople)
We’ll be mixing up our giving with direct distribution of funds ourselves and in addition, supporting some amazing charities that already exist.

2wIt's a wonderful example of a new radio station seeing a niche, meeting that listener and potential advertiser needs and playing good music. Unlike many longer established stations who struggle to adapt to variations or seeking out new listeners for fear of losing existing listeners and advertisers. Many would baulk at losing 1% listeners, but would any of them have rebranded, refocused to get growth of 441%. By any industry standard that's phenomenal.
