#IntergovernmentalNegotiatingCommittee (INC) - Sometimes, the wheels of government turns very slow and takes longer to feel the impact of intended change. As consumers of plastics and stakeholders on the ground, seeing and observing plastics from the shop tills to streets and landfills, one realises that the is a missing link and action - stakeholders to pickup the baton and take the battle head on. Rather not wait for the leaders of governments to come up with a plan and secure agreements on how and what to do to end plastic pollution. Stakeholders are the critical mass and can do better to shape the change we need, fill in the gaps and fast track commitments of these proposed agreements and succeed in ending surge of plastic waste and pollution. Active citizenry is what is needed to drive the process forward and the impact quicker and faster.
