Why is it important for a team to celebrate your wins? When your team celebrates your achievements, it's like adding fuel to your motivation. This recognition makes you feel appreciated and valued, boosting your confidence and inspiring you to aim even higher. It's a sign of a healthy team culture where each member's success is seen as a victory for the whole team, creating a positive atmosphere that encourages everyone to give their best.

🌟 What an inspiring reflection from our CEO, Harold Landers! 🌟 It's truly uplifting to see our leader prioritize the success and growth of others amidst a world often focused on individual achievements. Harold's recent encounter with one of our Directors beautifully highlights the essence of effective leadership – it's about empowering and uplifting those around us, rather than seeking personal accolades. As this Director so eloquently expressed, true fulfillment is found in witnessing the progress and achievements of our team members. It's a powerful testament to the impact leaders can have on their teams' growth and success. Harold's post serves as a poignant reminder that our life's purpose often lies in the positive influence we have on others. Creating an environment where everyone can thrive and succeed together is key. Let's take a moment to reflect on how we, too, can prioritize the success and well-being of those around us. How can we contribute to fostering a culture of support and empowerment in our own spheres? Thank you, Harold, for sharing this insightful perspective. Here's to embracing a mindset where being a winner means lifting others up! 🚀 #Leadership #Empowerment #Success #Teamwork #RosieCares
Yesterday, I asked one of the Directors in our company what they were most proud of when it came to their career and their achievements. I found it enlightening to see that this Director did not boast about their own triumphs and accolades yet; instead, they focused on the success of others. In this individual’s own words, she said, “One of the most fulfilling aspects of being a manager is witnessing the progress and achievements of your team members. Seeing those individuals I have hired and mentored excel in their work over the past years is gratifying. There have been countless moments where I have felt immense pride just watching the success of my team members. These moments, to me as a manager, serve as powerful reminders of the impact we have on our team's growth and success.” When you think about your life’s purpose, you know that you are on the right track when you become most proud of your influence on others and share in the experience of their success. Being a winner is “less” about oneself and “more” about others.

Sitting here watching the Ryder Cup thinking how many comparisons there are with the European Team under Luke Donaldson's leadership and managing a team at work. The team Luke Donald (and management team) has assembled is a mixed bag in some people's opinion. There are players not available due to the Liv tour, but 6 wildcards that allow him to pick others further down the rankings that offer something different to the team. He has clearly bought them together in such a harmonious way it shows clearly to everyone watching. And that goes a long way even before you start. The open and honest communication, involving them in conversations, letting them know early about plans and pairings shows his management style. The European players stood on the tee box with arms around each, smiles on their faces. Walking down the fairways together and engaging with the fans. Perception to the outside world counts so much in business too! To manage any team in business you need them to buy into who you are, what you stand for, and that above all that it's a team effort! That we are all in this together, through the rough and the smooth. Positivity and confidence alongside an open and honest culture is so important to get everyone pulling in the same direction. True collaboration. I've been very impressed with Luke Donaldson and the rest of the management team around him this weekend. For me it goes to show how important it is to have the right people around you, alongside you, and working with you at work. I'm very lucky to have a great team at work, and in the last 8 months think we have pulled together so well. Bringing a global team closer to work as one, with a clear plan, regular and open communication and celebrating our successes and milestones as we go. Long may it continue, and that Europe can carry on the way they have started, to reach their own target and ultimate goal! #teamwork #management #team #leadership #motivation #oneteam #collaboration
