Throughout Women's History Month, we asked members of our Gender Empowerment ERG to share the women in their lives who inspire them to create a future where every woman and girl can thrive. It's clear that empowering women has a wide-reaching power, from partners to family to friends. And sometimes they cross multiple boxes, as Johanne Georges, Sr. Merchandiser for Lucky Brand, shares about her impressive friend (who happens to be family): "Dr. Kameelah Phillips, MD, is a lifelong women's health advocate and leader in the fight to create safe, equitable healthcare for women of color. She is an educator and mentor; some of us are fortunate to call her our cousin and shopping buddy. She helped me navigate my own medical challenges and advocated for me when I didn't have the words or strength to do so. I've watched her counsel, guide, and treat patients from all walks of life through health scares and joyous moments with skill, care, and patience.
