ACAD is accepting proposals for our 80th Annual Meeting being held February 21-23, 2024 in Tampa, FL. Our meeting "Intentional Academic Leadership: Building Value in Higher Education" comes at a time when there are multiple challenges facing higher ed (the pandemic, volatile state governments, possible changes to federal rules, changing demographics, etc.), it’s important for academic leaders to be intentional and ready to adapt to any challenge. For the meeting, ACAD will focus on intentional academic leadership, which deliberately shapes the present and looks to the future. As leaders we must be intentional in our decision-making, planning, and implementation, both professionally and personally. Change is an ongoing hallmark of higher education. We are uniquely positioned to embrace it and move forward purposefully to build, or re-build, value in higher education.   See the comments section for a link to the CFP.
