June is #NationalSafetyMonth so what better time to highlight the safety culture at Madison Air and the Nortek Air Solutions, LLC Safety Ambassador Team in Okarche, Oklahoma. Started by group president Russell Toney, the NAS Safety Ambassador Team fosters a culture of safety and well-being at our company. The ambassadors carefully evaluate the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and study every aspect of our line for potential hazards. At our Okarche facility, Mellissa Stanfor and Jake Campbell lead the charge as safety ambassadors. They meet weekly to review, assess, and implement new procedures, and with the guidance of Chris Talbott, they recently introduced Weekly Safety Alerts which have proven invaluable in keeping people vigilant. Their combined efforts have helped lead the way toward continued improvement. Nothing is more important than returning home safely to our loved ones after a day's work.
