“Who’s paying for music in 2024?” When potential new label or distributor partners ask this, I share my screen and show them a dashboard like this one from a release that went live yesterday, July 2nd, 2024. Yes, a fan paid $1,000. Yes, numerous fans paid $100. No, this artist doesn’t have millions of followers or monthly listeners. Yet, this artist will likely recoup before the release hits streaming platforms. Why? Because they used EVEN. What’s the alternative? Not doing a campaign on EVEN and leaving money on the table? Simply relying on the broken models we know don’t work? Consumer behavior is rapidly changing, and fans are more than ever willing to pay for access. Artists, managers, and executives are getting EVEN. You should too. #musicindustry #musicnews #dtc #streaming #superfans
The true future of our industry can be found on EVEN.
Great stuff Mag Rodriguez love seeing this!

2wThank you for this insight, Mag! The artist-fan connection is the heart of the industry, and it's incredible to see this championed through EVEN. I would compare this to breaking the "fourth wall" in the music industry, where artists can enjoy the luxury of distributing their work to those who want it most. It opens the dialogue and creates authentic connections.
