GOD KNOWS ALL THE HEADACHES USA GOVERNMENT HAVE WITH THE FOREIGN AFFAIRS. THE NEW WORLD IS PRACTICALLY A SHOCK TO WITNESS. PEOPLE "ONLY WORKING" TOGETHER FOR A COMMON GOAL... "IN THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS." THUS DOESN'T THAT ALSO INCLUDE THE HOMELESS. THE HOMELESS ARE OUT THERE... ARE YOU.? HOMELESS A OPPORTUNITY MISUNDERSTOOD..... The modern economic system is a market economy, which is a capitalist economy where people, not the government--NOT THE GOVERNMENT--own most businesses. In a capitalist economy, prices allocate capital and labor between competing uses, and capital assets like factories, mines, and railroads can be privately owned and controlled. https://lnkd.in/eB98Jnv9 GOOGLE. EXAMPLE, IF YOU NEED TO RAISE MONEY FOR ANY REASON OR MORE SO LETS SAY THE "HOMELESS" PROBLEM WHICH IS BELIEVED TO BE TIME & MONEY CONSUMING BUT IN ONE DIRECTION TOWARD THE HOMELESS. HOWEVER CRYPTOCURRENCY CAN POSSIBLE ALLOWS AN EXPENDITURE OF CURRENCY TO BENEFIT ALL WHO USES THE CRYPTO & REGARDLESS OF HOW IT'S CONSUMED. THEREFORE IF A CRYPTO "HOMELESS" CURRENCY EXISTED IT'S MORE HIGHLY LIKELY THAT THE HOMELESS PROBLEM CAN BE VANQUISHED BECAUSE CURRENCY-FINANCES IT'S ALWAYS AVAILABLE TO BE TAPPED INTO FOR HOMELESS RESOLUTIONS. Did you know that one of this year's grant recipient's was the Apex Police Youth Enrichment Camp. In a world where community engagement and positive law enforcement interactions are vital, police youth summer camps have emerged as a beacon of hope and an opportunity for building strong relationships between law enforcement agencies and the younger generation. These camps provide a unique and enriching experience that goes beyond the conventional summer activities, fostering trust, understanding, and leadership skills among the youth. 2023 marked the 14th anniversary of the Apex Police Department’s Youth Enrichment Camp. The positive effects of YEC ripple beyond the participants themselves. As these young individuals return to their communities, they become ambassadors of understanding, sharing their experiences and insights with peers, family members, and neighbors. This leads to improved relationships between the police and the community at large, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration. In an era where building bridges between law enforcement agencies and the youth they serve is paramount, police youth summer camps emerge as a transformative force. Through fostering understanding, nurturing leadership skills, and creating lasting relationships, these camps lay the foundation for a brighter and more cohesive future.

It was great hearing from prior Hiring Our Heroes alums talk about their previous experiences going through the Fellowship program. It helped put this first week at our host companies into perspective. The biggest takeaways that I got were: 1. Be humble and hungry to learn! 2. My network IS my net worth. 3. Treat every interaction as a potential interview and show you are a team player. 4. Soft skills > Technical skills 5. Remember to focus on my well-being. Any other advice from anyone for onboarding into a new job?

This is exactly why we exist as a company.

For many years now, I’ve noticed that working to improve, invest in, or (oddly) defend public education brings out the best in people. It’s a never-ending, ever-widening labor of love for young people, communities, and the idea of a functioning, or better yet, a vibrant democracy. Sometimes it’s hard to see an immediate, real-world impact, especially if you don’t work in the classroom or regularly visit schools (miss the good old days). But whether it's educators inspiring students and anchoring communities, advocates making sure the system works for everyone, or innovators of all types bringing new ideas forward, supporting the promise of a great education can be our best and most tangible expression of compassion, justice, and hope for the future. And I don’t think there’s ever been a time when we’ve needed more of that collective, teetering on existential, hope. I feel incredibly lucky to still be fighting the good fight, now with the brilliant team of education dreamers, believers, and storytellers at FINN Partners—a few months in already. Together, we’re showing that when we work in service of education from the many vantage points and undertakings our clients bring, we elevate not only educational progress and ideas but also each other.
