I had the pleasure of recently sitting on a panel with Mario Zepponi, BMO and Tom Barber, SBJ Capital at the ACG San Francisco M&A Conference in Napa, discussing the current state of the wine industry and the resulting impact on the M&A market. Plenty of challenges currently facing the market with wholesalers and retailers destocking, decreasing wine consumption in the U.S. and intensified anti-alcohol narrative.
