With school starting, I finally have some time to reflect on my summer. I started my summer in Beaverton, Oregon as a Sports Marketing intern at Nike. Here I worked specifically with the Tennis team to better serve and leverage our athletes. I also worked on a cross-functional team to design a new marketing plan that we presented to executives at the company. After my internship, I boarded a plane for Rome, Italy with the University of Washington LSJ Department. Here I was taking a class that compared the legal institutions in the US and Italy. We spent time in and out of the classroom, visited historical landmarks, and met some legendary legal actors. Through both of these opportunities, I was able to meet inspiring people, learn new skills, and overcome many obstacles. This summer has been a summer of growth, knowledge, and inspiration. I could not have had the summer I did without the help of my extensive support system; however, I want to specifically thank Erica Cenci for her career coaching help, Mario Vergara for being the most welcoming and passionate manager, as well as the UW LSJ department for an incredible learning experience. I look forward for what senior year has to offer and am curious as to where my future endeavors will take me. #nike #studyabroad #seniors
