It’s a demo platform for key multiplayer and AI features. 🕹 Key Features: 🤖 AI and Procedural Map Development: AI Functionalities: AIController - Detects sight, hearing, damage and divides teams logic Behavior Tree: Main States - Controlled by the group manager, includes attacking, defending, and more Sub States - Managed by the AI, includes offense, defense, and pickups CTF Actor and GameState - Manages team behaviors and paths between flags Procedural Map Development: High-Level Generation: Base Procedural - Combines Wave Function Collapse and 3D-model synthesis algorithms with custom modifications Low-Level Generation: Dungeon Procedural - Uses the high level principles but uses the following additional algorithms for the dungeon design -Delaunay Triangulation - Creates a mesh from points -Minimum Spanning Tree - Ensures connected yet distinct rooms -A* - Finds connection paths on the procedural grid 🫂Multiplayer: Replication Logic & Steam Integration - Ensures smooth multiplayer gameplay Capture-the-Flag Mode - Focuses on player interaction and movement Player Components: Health - Manages player damage and healing Combat - Ensures synchronized combat mechanics across the server Movement: Slide - Adds dynamic movement, replicated across the network Jetpack - Provides double jump capability for enhanced navigation Game Features: Pickups - Special items offering various player advantages Weapon System - Includes hitscan and projectile weapons for different combat strategies 🎯 Purpose: The main goal of BARZEL FORCE CTF is to explore Unreal Engine’s AI and multiplayer capabilities. Totally agree with Andrew Chen "Enabling the $1000 blockbuster movie I want to end this discussion on a positive note, for what AI can do for the creative indistry. The positive way to frame all of this is the concept of the "$1000 blockbuster movie." Today millions of dollars (and hundreds of people) are needed to make a full length movie, a multiplayer game, or a multi-season TV series. But compare that to a humble book... Writing a book just needs a laptop, coffee and lots of time. Not much money. Add up the laptop and all the coffees, and you maaaaybe spend $1000. What if an individual could make a full-length summer blockbuster movie by themselves with just a laptop and some coffee too? It would be 100,000x leverage to be able to author a movie (or game, or TV series) - the same way that someone can write a book It would require lots of effort and grit. It's not easy to write a good book - no diff for a great movie. But it would be possible, when it's not today"

Had a great time last week in Malmö for the Nordic Game! It was great to see some familiar and new faces 💌 I was honestly impressed by the quality of the Developer showcase 👏 AI is in everyone's mind wether it is to create code, NPC, voice or game assets/ visuals. Still... there are some workflows integration challenges. Many times, I present Scenario as an AI toolkit from which you can build your own workflows because when creating visuals from Midjourney, it is actually really complicated to get something style consistent. So...
