The Veeva/Salesforce split... I was at a pharma conference recently and this topic continues to be top of mind for many. In fact, I might even suggest that as time has passed since the announcement, it has emerged as perhaps the hottest topic in the industry. What is clear to me is that there remain more questions than answers and still some confusion around exactly what is happening and the potential implications. A few months back, I was a guest on Life Science Marketing Radio hosted by Chris Conner where we discussed this very topic. My custom #salesforce calendar for Demo Equipment Requests just got better! After receiving a warm welcome at Norso Medical org, one of my stakeholders suggested a quicker way to access the contents of the request - maybe it should be displayed as a title (all requests can still be accessed via mouse click, but we need a quicker overview)? Since titles may become too small if devices are booked for a short period of time, I added an additional info box that displays booked equipment with accessories, ensuring a quicker overview without sacrificing functionality. This was accomplished by adding a tooltip to the calendar's #visualforce page and assigning mouseEnter and mouseLeave functions to it, while making sure that the #apex controller has access to the HTML-built field in the related #Flow. My Evening Event...LWC that I designed to be used to make an appointment in a hospital. It lists doctors according to the selected section, shows the available time slots of the selected doctor on the calendar, and provides the opportunity to create an appointment record by obtaining information about the patient.
