Alongside the job content, company culture and of course salary/package, often the most important aspect of job searching for engineers I speak to is career progression.
One of the more popular areas I'm being asked about increasingly frequently is system engineering, which particularly seems to appeal to experienced engineers coming from an electronics or hardware design background.
Clearly it is a role which offers broad responsibilities, and a nice step towards senior level positions, but I've detailed a few of the reasons why a System Engineer position could be a good option for your next move, if you're thinking of a change.... thoughts?
