This morning, golfers, staff, volunteers and spectators stood in unity as the Korn Ferry Tour paid tribute to PGA TOUR player and former McConnell Golf scholar Grayson Murray with a moment of silence. His passing has impacted us greatly as Grayson visited Holston Hills Country Club in 2023 and participated in the Visit Knoxville Open. We join the entire golf community in offering our deepest condolences to his family. Grayson will be greatly missed, but his legacy of helping our program and inspiring junior golfers to follow their dreams will continue to live on.

Who didn't love putting contests as a junior golfer?
Playing against your friends for £1, for golf balls or event for a plate of chips, these were serious events. They were more than that though, they allowed us to bond over short contests whilst working on the most important parts of our games. They made us feel like we belonged as part of the junior golf scene at our clubs.
In our 11th White Paper, we addressed the issue of belonging. Making new golfers feel like they belong as part of the golfing community is crucial to grow our sport. One idea is to build leagues at your club so that people we can foster this feeling of fun competition and build that feeling of belonging.

"We are here for the golfers, and without them, there is no golf club. That is our main driver for using feedback". - shares Anna Wickberg, Golf Club Manager at Idrefjällens Golfklubb.
Effective teamwork and the use of feedback have greatly facilitated her role as a Golf Club Manager.
📊 Wickberg considers it crucial to provide data-driven arguments when suggesting potential improvements to the golf course and presenting these proposals to the Board or other club decision-makers.
And the Players 1st Surveys offers exactly that:
Clear, documented insights into what golfers enjoy and dislike.

Details Dormie House, Moss Vale Golf Club 38 Arthur St, Moss Vale Thursday 13 June 9 am - 3 pm.
With many offering Workshops and Forums on Coercive Control and Coercive Control new offence (NSW) why pick our Forums? We have over 30 years of frontline experience; 29 years of academic history of research; client experiences and lived experience and so much more…Breaking down any legislation does not require a legal mind or legal expertise, however, it does add value. We are the lead in increasing awareness of this heinous form of abuse and the offence complexities.
Forums and Workshops are essential and an investment in embedding a comprehensive understanding of the new Coercive Control offence, ensuring appropriate and efficient responses and identification, which will save lives. This offence is complex and a deeper understanding will assist in understanding what will be required for successful prosecution. As always, with any Legislation the devil is in the detail.
When we unpack the new Coercive Control offence (NSW) and its complexities at our NSW Region Forums, we also unpack what coercive control is and its consequences, such as whilst not limited to the “loss of free will”; loss of autonomy; overt and rigid rules; covert and overtook behaviours; unwritten consequences; unspoken expectations; emotional fallout; promises extracted; emotions fully loaded; Fear Obligation and Guilt (FOG); manipulative moodiness; and sulking in the aftermath as means to get what the controller wants.
Click on the event flyer link to book your spot. Come along and improve your understanding of coercive control and the new offence, network and build relationships and share resources.

With the Solheim and Ryder Cups coming up, we were thinking about our first Gather White Paper which looked into golf's reliance on avid and core golfers. These two showcase events bring a partisan crowd to golf and can help bring new fans into our sport. The question is, how do we capitalise on this? #GatherInsightshttps://lnkd.in/e_RH-xcQ
