I loved facilitating Home Group Scotland's all-staff day in Dundee on Friday. Audrey Simpson got in touch following a recommendation – always so nice to hear! 😊 . 50 dedicated professionals came together to reconnect and realign around their vital shared purpose of creating housing solutions and possibilities for tenants amidst challenging times and multiple crises. . The climate emergency 🌍 and cost-of-living crisis 💰 are directly impacting the communities housing associations serve. As often the last visible public service, this results in increased pressures on staff. 😓 . Understanding ourselves and each other builds compassion vital to overcoming challenges. . With the theme "Adapting and Thriving Through Change", we used Jungian Archetypes to uncover our individual strengths and motivations. Through courageous storytelling, we built greater empathy, trust and understanding. 👐 . By appreciating our diversity, we had solutions-focused discussions on supporting one another through constant change. We laid the groundwork to consciously evolve Home Group Scotland's culture to be adaptive and resilient – key objectives for the day. ✅ . As a Sage 🧙♀️ I brought deep listening and rich discussion. As a Hero 🦸♀️ I encouraged courageous storytelling to build bonds. And as a Caregiver 👩⚕️ I held space for every voice to be heard. . My favourite part was the closing session hearing everyone's key takeaways and insights! 💡 I loved that participants left with renewed energy 💪 to support tenants, and each other, through turbulent times – important intended outcomes. ✅ . My deepest thanks to Audrey and everyone at Home Group Scotland. It was my pleasure to facilitate this group of passionate, dedicated professionals. I could see the sparks of inspiration, camaraderie and renewal reigniting their shared sense of purpose to serve their tenants and communities. . Thanks too to Yvonne Anderson and Patrick Wiggins for supporting me on the day. 🙌 . As a room of many Caregivers, it was my privilege to guide them in transforming insights into impact.
