Banner Health reduces generalized anxiety with Digital Therapeutics (DTx)>> 📲Banner Health, is one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the U.S., serving more than eight million patients across six states 📲The driver to implement a DTx solution was particularly high regional demand for mental health services with limited supply of practitioners 📲Banner currently uses SilverCloud®, an Amwell product, that is delivered to patients directly via Oracle/Cerner Corporation workflows through a third-party digital health distribution tool called Xealth 📲40% of patients fulfil their SilverCloud prescription, with patients engaging with the platform for over two hours on average 📲Reduction in both generalized anxiety disorder and patient health questionnaire scores have been observed from patients who have used SilverCloud (numbers not specified) 📲The health system is trying to model the approach of the UK NHS using Sleepio as its first-in-line solution for insomnia 📲They partnered with Xealth believing patients are far more likely to use a tool or product if it comes from their doctor than anywhere else in the network 💬Big insight is the importance of integrating a DTx into Physicians and Health System workflow, and subsequently being able to connect a range of partners together to enable this 👇Link to article in comments below #DTx #DigitalHealth
