I love this! Next week I am booking a room at a luxury hotel for a couple nights just for a change of scenery. I will work from there and come back feeling refreshed!!! And it also helps your brain! 🧠 When you alter your routine, you challenge your brain to adapt to new circumstances. This promotes neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections. This can improve cognitive flexibility and problem-solving skills.

This means letting go of the feeling of control, and also the obsession to follow. A routine should arise out of understanding (i.e., the sense to do what is needed), and it should not be slavery. A true routine is never against freedom. Even self-imposed routines remain superficial, and it is hypocrisy. Routine arising out of understanding is a true discipline, and such discipline will result in freedom.

When in a rut and need a joy burst of adventure? Take a detour and DSD = Do something different...great advice. If I need a boost of energy and it's a sunny day, like I did today, I took a different route. I discovered a local nursery near the river that I can buy trees & bushes for landscaping. I also found a short-cut. BONUS! Typically, when I'm stuck or in a rut, I walk in my town and engage with the local shops (or walk on the beach). Which also switches things up for me. What do you do to make your day brighter?
