In a recent interview with Techstrong TV, hosted by Michael Vizard, our COO and Strategy Director,Jennifer Addie, explains that for the U.S. National Security Strategy to succeed, there will need to be a much greater emphasis placed on cybersecurity training. As of 2022, there were approximately 4.7 million professionals in the global cybersecurity workforce. However, in the United States, only 69% of cyber roles are currently filled. This shortage of skilled professionals in the field is a challenge that can't be ignored and is considered so critical that the Biden-Harris administration recently devised a National Cybersecurity Strategy to address the skills gap. As businesses continue to migrate to cloud environments and harness the power of AI and machine learning, the need for cyber professionals with specialized knowledge in these domains is becoming increasingly urgent.
