I added the first of several planned presentations regarding systems engineering measurement to my YouTube channel, "Ron on Requirements". This first one is a presentation of a 2008 paper with Bojan Zlicaric that outlines a basis for systems engineering measurement using Performance-Based Earned Value (SM), a term and book written by Paul Solomon and Ralph Young (2007, Wiley-IEEE Computer Society). Two requirements-related measurements are described. The written paper is available in the Wiley-INCOSE library at https://lnkd.in/gu_AKjhT

Senior Consultant, Managing Member at Wheatland Consulting, LLC.; Chair of the INCOSE Requirements Working Group (RWG).
This is a very insightful presentation. It complements my previous repost concerning Agile. As the comments mention, how does this fit into software systems developed using an Agile methodology?

It is said that the wise correct themselves, but mainly honest people do it. We have just published a correction to the measurement equation presented in our paper "Primary facility for traceable measurements of BSSRDF". Although it is not a substantial change that affects the conclusions of the paper, we wanted to notify it in order to avoid possible confusion in future developments of measurement systems for the Bidirectional Scattering-Surface Reflectance Distribution Function (BSSRDF). This publication can be found in the following link: https://lnkd.in/eMgDFNec
