Dress For Success and the Professional Women’s Group has played a significant role for me just in a short period by providing me with resources, networking opportunities, professional development, and a supportive community, that has contributed to my personal and professional growth enabling me to achieve greater success and fulfillment just in my own life and career. What Dress for Success Indianapolis has done for me is what it does for all woman who would like to improve on their skills, networking, help with job interviews and even help you select an outfit from their boutique to help each woman be their best.
Other ways to help Dress For Success make a difference in a community include the following:
Donate - financial contributions, professional attire, and career development resources can support the organizations programs and services
Volunteer: devote their time and skills to help with various initiatives, such as mentoring, résumé, building, interviewing preparation, or organizing, fundraising events.
Spread the word: raise awareness about Dress For Success DFS Professional Women’s Group by sharing information with their network, promoting their events and initiatives, or engaging with them on social media.
Offer professional, expertise: share professional knowledge and skills by volunteering as a workshop, facilitator or mentor to help women in their career development
Support local partnerships: collaborate with local businesses and organizations to create an internship and employment opportunities for Dress, For, Success, participants, providing them with valuable work experience.
By actively supporting Dress For Success, individuals can contribute to the organizations, mission of empowering women, fostering equality, and creating positive change in the community.
Sandra is a Client Support Manager at The National Bank of Indianapolis in the nonprofit division. Making a career out of supporting and cheering on others is helpful because she is also a favorite aunt of 75 nieces and nephews (includes great, great nieces and nephews).
