Visionary Leader and Strategic Healer I Top 10% Global Podcast I Former Paramedic I "Bringing Balance And Harmony To The Business World"
Many of you know I record a second podcast for Mindbase | Proactive First Responder Wellness focusing on first responders personal stories with mental health. I want to give Ada County Sheriff Matt Clifford a huge shout out for what an incredible leader he is. Though you won't be able to listen unless your agency has Mindbase, I want to give you 3 key take aways that can be relatable to any human: 1) Communication with your spouse/partner/family is self-care. Allowing them in on what is bothering you and how you are feeling while they provide the space to emotionally support you. They don't need at the details, but your emotions. 2) Knowing where to get help before you need it is critical. If your department mandates check ins with EAP or peer support, you may not need it at the moment, but you are primed for when that time does come. 3) If you are stagnant in life you are losing. It is not about erasing your past, but leveling up. Taking what you have learned to go to the next level, the game is not over. Take the actions to personally develop to then professionally develop. If you are a first responder and are interested in learning more about Mindbase. Please message me!
