Reduced autonomy 2016[edit] In March 2015, the Australian Government announced comprehensive reforms for Norfolk Island.[40] The action was justified on the grounds it was necessary "to address issues of sustainability which have arisen from the model of self-government requiring Norfolk Island to deliver local, state and federal functions since 1979".[40] On 17 June 2015, the Norfolk Island Legislative Assembly was abolished, with the territory becoming run by an Administrator and an advisory council. Elections for a new Regional Council were held on 28 May 2016, with the new council taking office on 1 July 2016 ==> I wonder about the significance (or otherwise) of what's happening to democracy on Norfolk Island with what is happening to democracy in Australia. One or more secret cabals have emerged in Australian politics, including one on the left (Fabian Society, or whatever) and another on the right (Freemasons) ... and Australia is no longer being governed for all Australians. Instead, we have these terrible secrets being kept and defended by the Australian Government, some of which go all the way back to the Frontier Wars ... and these secrets are being kept and abused to enable an emerging undemocratic plutocracy that has protection by Australia's military (who pledge an oath to defend the King and his heirs, but not the public interests of millions of Australian families, including to affordable food security). There's a book that's been published by Omid Scobie, called "End Game". I wonder if the two racist members of the royal family mentioned in the Dutch version of his book are Princess Michael and Prince Michael of Kent ... and that because they are distant heirs to the throne ... and she lived in Australia (Princess Mutt) ... corrupt politicians, military leaders and police officers who are members of the freemasons ... are conspiring to manipulate Australian law to commit treason and engage in a coup, with the Qantas Chairman's Lounge mobsters.

Valley Water's Organization for Latino Affairs (OLA) celebrated Día de los Muertos with an Ofrenda in our headquarters. Employees stopped by to learn more about this celebration of life and make their own contributions to our Ofrenda. Día de los Muertos primarily originated in Mexico and is traditionally a gathering of family and friends to pay respects and remember those who have passed. Butterfly-shaped post-its with the names of the dearly departed fly on our remembrance Ofrenda. Monarch butterflies are often associated with the Day of the Dead, and the arrival of the butterflies into Mexico for the winter coincides with the holiday. It was believed that the butterflies carried the spirits of the deceased back to the mortal world so that they could join in on the celebration. To help build community within and among our diverse workforce, Valley Water supports Employee Resource Groups (ERG) like OLA as a critical part of our workplace DEI strategy.
