Start connecting with someone who understands what you’re going through. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ When you expand your network it becomes fun because you’re not doing it alone. ⁣ Take it from someone who’s learned the hard way, start small as this will help you with financial risks. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Being a veteran entrepreneur will require resilience and the ability to overcome new challenges. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ There’s so many organizations out there so look for the support you need. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ With the help of other incredible entrepreneurs, we are working on putting an event here in San Diego for veterans and active duty because I get it, making a transition after 20+ years of service is not easy. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ But it is possible and much easier if you connect with the right people. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Stay in the fight, and never give up! I made a lot of money when my relationships were transactional. I saw people for what they could do for me. In turn, I hustled hard for them. It felt like a win, win. But somehow, it still seemed like we were competing against each other. So when I nearly died and my heart softened to the truth of what relationships were really meant for, I started seeing the most peculiar things about people... I saw their quirks, their talents, hidden things that I didn’t even know about them. I started seeing deep inside. I no longer looked at them for what they could do for me and instead started seeing how I could serve them 🙌 In turn, those relationships catapulted me in business, faith, and in life more than I could have imagined. I can truly say my net worth also incudes my network.
