You feel crushed when someone you trust, lets you down. Worse, pretending they are unaware. Hurts, cut your losses and move on. #OfficeTruths

Mr. Nathan, Based on my personal experience, I feel crushed is an understatement....It is much beyond feeling hurt & crushed in one's personal life.... Usually, such folks have a DNA issue, and they continue to live with an evil and deceitful mind....They usually con people with their sweet talks and acts of facade. At times it is hard to decipher such folks... As you rightly mentioned, it is best to forgive & forget such folks. One should never continue to keep ties with such unethical folks !!!!

Well stated...being let down by someone we trust is very very disappointing. For me it helps to talk to them directly to get more clarity about this which can either fix the relationship or get a closure here. Moving on is definitely important but understanding why it happened also helps to heal better & become better at recognizing who to trust,

Or when they try to avoid you, by not responding to your messages or emails. Or worst look the other way.

Absolutely sir! I somehow always attract the untrustworthy ones like magnets 😂!! My first biggest betrayal was from my boss of my first job, I confided in her with something and she turned it against me. It was devastating to say the least, I probably on the wall of shame in that company now 😄!! I don’t say I have changed but now I don’t really mind of what people think of me but I take time trusting my supervisor. #officetruths

Trust is fragile, and when someone we trust lets us down, it can be incredibly disheartening. It's even worse when they pretend to be oblivious to their actions. It's a tough lesson, but sometimes we must cut our losses and move on. Holding onto that hurt and disappointment will only weigh us down. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this relatable topic Nathan Sir!

I wish you spoke about real issues where people look up to leaders like you.. Cheeky mealy mouth platitudes are good too... You choose to step in or self preserve..
