Dear manager, the day a team member resigns is the day you start to value them. By then it’s too late. #OfficeTruths

Unfortunately, farewell party is becoming part appraisal party , listing the achievements and importance of the person leaving .. I wish those words are reflected in appraisal when employees are in the team so that they don't think to leave at all. As we read, employees don't leave organisations, they leave their managers . Thank you so much for sharing your invaluable experience with all of us continuously sir.

Good insight 👍 Valuing team members fosters a positive workplace culture by emphasizing recognition, collaboration, and inclusivity. This approach encourages team members to take ownership of their contributions, leading to increased engagement, productivity, and a sense of belonging. A culture that values each member can significantly impact organizational success and employee well-being.

So true sir. Once a member decides to resign, often, it's too little, too late scenario at office! Unfortunately , this also has a domino effect at times in offices. Ideal way to manage is ts to increase stickability at our end by managing a good work culture in my opinion. Thank you for bringing these to fore regularly.. useful for Managers.

What about the managers who compel you to resign by creating situations and mental harrassment? They will never realize anything. They just sit with their role of being a manager but with utter failure they can never do justice to that role. They thrive on the employee's misery.

Resignations had a meaning in our days - Bad Manager, No Promotion, No Hike, No Bonus, No Travel, less PF, late reimbursements, Team not suiting self expectations, Micromanaging, Favoritsm, Bully, et al. These days Resignations are coming in majorly bcas ppl are offered 100% Work From Home and many fall for it. Many don’t understand the side effects of it on a longer run. All of the reasons above are compromised including a flat 30% hike when u switch organizations. Ppl are ready to compromise everything for this 100% Remote working. What I mean is - Not all, but some Managers do value their ppl a lot, more than 100%, but a 100% remote working model given by another company blindfolds the “value”.

That true ... Hence I coach all my leaders to make appreciation and feedback a daily routine which helps team members to grow professionally and emotionally .I understand that it may be not intentional sometimes with hectic schedules leaders may miss this critical part but then make it a mandatory todo list . Watering plant daily is needed to not let it dry no matter how busy or occupied you are.

One side, it's very true. On the other hand, after trying to convince and fail, then the leader's behaviour will change and start all negative about this employee, giving maximum trouble to his exit starts. Good work culture and atmosphere will never think employees to leave the organisation

Good Evening Sir Post the day of rhe resignation the practitioner is 1. Hounded 2. Praised 3. Or both Post the day of the resignation the scenario is of one good cop one bad cop where all possible efforts are made Bouquets or brickbats are given or thrown . Probably only Post resignation would the true face be revealed many friendships forged Like they say in Hindi Dushman ka dushman tumahara dost ho sakta hai
