Global tree cover is crucial for maintaining the balance of atmospheric gases, especially CO2 and O2. Did you know that the global forest cover consists of a staggering 3 trillion trees? According to 'Nature' journals, the top five countries with the most trees are Russia, Canada, Brazil, USA, and China. However, India lags behind with the least number of trees among major countries globally, at just 35 billion with now 1.45 Billion people. This could be one of the reasons why India's cities, with 81 out of 100 appearing in the most polluted cities globally, suffer from intense pollution. Let's make a conscious effort to preserve our green lungs and work towards a healthier planet. Here's an idea - a provision similar to that of CSR could be introduced in BRSR framework directing Stock exchange listed Top 1000 companies to contribute a specified % of annual profit into a pooled fund 'GREEN LUNGS' to be exclusively used for afforestation and Ecosystems Restoration initially during UN Ecosystem Restoration Decade, 2021-30. Let's work towards a greener future! #GreenLungs #Trees #Co2 #O2 #MostPollutedCities #Ecosystems #SDGs #Nature #Sustainability #UNDecadeofEcosystemRestoration #Russia #Canada #Brazil #USA #China #India

🔥 If you are giving billion dollar money to the Fossil Fuel sector and Digital Civilization, what about Water saving storage Resources and Agriculture development for Rural area development ? If you were thinking any one of the great leadership about these sustainable Nature Resources and eco system Survival definitely any country will develop again, people can also recover from droughts and starvation! How many more years can the fossil fuels industry survive on this earth? Also, how many more years can these coal mines that you are digging sustain this human? But the earth is not for a million years, the civilization on this earth and the future civilization can survive for another million years, but only if it is protected from pollution! So let's fight against pollution, let's protect the earth without pollution, pollution is the greatest danger to us, pollution is more dangerous than any disease! Think about the growing population! India already has a rapidly growing population of over 140 crores, the world's population is over 600 crores! The food they need , the water, crop fields to grow and the help of nature as well as Natural Resources and Natural Sustainable Development are important and where are we going and how are we directing the youth of this country and the youth of this world ❓ _____😔 We children think about this nature, about this nature environment, about pollution, about these natural resources and you too give small dreams to their minds ! Your valuable ideas should be passed on to the next generation and also give advice to the scientists and youth to save this earth otherwise this earth is ready to end without knowing when it was born! 🌍The sins we are doing today will be wrapped up in our future generation! 🌍 ___Shall we think about what the youth want and what the future generations want or should we leave it at that ❓ What the growing population and future generations need are cars, digital innovation and artificial intelligence, not science! The most important thing we need is nature, nature's atmosphere, this land, this planet, this soil, this water and this air! #fridayforfuture #PMOIndia #pmonarendramodi #PMOofIndia #PMOffice #worldleaders #climate #ClimateAction #polution #savesoil #climatechange #fossilfuels Fridays for Future International #Climatestrike #Climatestrike #FFF #stopdiggingfossilfuels #EndFossilFuels Geethika Venkatesan 13 Years Old, International Young Climate and Environmental Activist and Global Climate Awareness Campaigner 🌍 Let's think about the future Tragedies,Let's explore save Nature. Celebrate World Environment Day with #GenerationRestoration! 🌱 Join us this World Environment Day as we focus on #GenerationRestoration, a global movement aimed at revitalizing our ecosystems and repairing the damage done to our planet. By the way, what is Generation Restoration? Generation Restoration is all about reversing the degradation of our natural ecosystems. It emphasizes restoring our forests, oceans, rivers, and lands to ensure a sustainable future for generations to come. And, why is Restoration Important? It is crucial because: 🌲 Forests: Act as carbon sinks, purify air, and provide habitats. 🌊 Oceans: Regulate climate, supply oxygen, and are home to diverse marine life. 🌾 Soil: Supports agriculture and stores carbon. 🦋 Biodiversity: Vital for ecosystem resilience and human survival. So, how can you contribute? ✅Plant Trees: Join tree-planting initiatives or start your own. ✅Reduce Waste: Opt for reusable items, recycle, and compost. ✅Support Clean Energy: Advocate for and use renewable energy sources. ✅Protect Waterways: Participate in clean-up drives and conserve water. ✅Raise Awareness: Educate others about the importance of ecosystem restoration. Countries worldwide are making strides in restoration. From India’s massive tree-planting campaigns to Kenya’s Green Belt Movement, positive change is happening. Share your efforts using #GenerationRestoration and inspire others to take part. Together, we can heal the planet and create a healthier, more sustainable future. 💚 #WorldEnvironmentDay #EcosystemRestoration #SustainableFuture #GreenLiving #ClimateAction #RestoreOurEarth #EnvironmentalAwareness

Biotasoil Foundation Partners with Open Forest Protocol to Foster Carbon Sequestration Across India In a world where climate change poses an ever-growing threat, the significance of carbon sequestration cannot be overstated. At the intersection of this critical global challenge and a commitment to environmental conservation lies the partnership between the Biotasoil Foundation and the Open Forest Protocol. Carbon sequestration, the process of capturing and storing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, stands as a formidable solution to mitigate the adverse effects of climate change. Forests play an instrumental role in this process, serving as invaluable carbon sinks. By absorbing carbon dioxide during photosynthesis and storing it in trees and soil, forests act as a powerful tool to combat rising greenhouse gas emissions. Committed to championing sustainability, the Biotasoil Foundation embarked on a transformative journey of its own - establishing Miyawaki forests across India. These lush, biodiverse ecosystems represent more than just a mere tree-planting initiative. They embody the foundation's dedication to enhancing the environment and creating a sustainable future. Recognizing the critical role of forests in carbon sequestration, the Biotasoil Foundation forged a strategic partnership with the Open Forest Protocol. This collaboration enhances our efforts to monitor, report, and verify (MRV) the carbon sequestration in our Miyawaki forests. By adopting cutting-edge technologies and methodologies, we ensure that our initiatives yield measurable and impactful results. As the Biotasoil Foundation continues its journey to create greener, healthier communities, we invite you to join us. Together, with the support of the Open Forest Protocol, we can drive meaningful change. By promoting carbon sequestration, we take tangible steps towards building a more sustainable future for generations to come. #BiotasoilFoundation #OpenForestProtocol #CarbonSequestration #Sustainability #EnvironmentalConservation #MiyawakiForests

Every step we take in the fight against climate change is one closer to a sustainable future. The process of carbon sequestration is crucial to it. We can prevent climate change, improve ecosystem health, and create cleaner air and more stable weather patterns by capturing and storing carbon dioxide. Let's promote carbon sequestration as a cause! We are making an investment in the health of the environment and future generations by supporting efforts and breakthroughs in this field. When we work together, we can have a big influence. #BiotasoilFoundation #Sustainability #climatechange #carbonsequestration
