The team First Tech Federal Credit Union were such a joy to have in the Free Food Market today. They helped with our weekly delivery from Oregon Food Bank, filling the shelves for neighbors who need food. Thanks for your friendly faces and for volunteering!

Yea it’s a five minute video, who watches those anymore! However, if you followed us over the course of Serve Week 2024 (The Ocho) this is an awesome wrap up and great work by the team. We try and use LinkedIn to open a window into our culture. And while Foundry Commercial isn’t perfect and we will always have work to do in pursuit of our standards, I think this is one of the things we get really right. We are a services company and spending time with these amazing organizations, which we encourage you to check out and support, reminds us what true service looks like. It is a week where we try to give back and we always end up getting so much more than we give. Great job Lauren and the entire Serve Week support team. #foundrycommercial #itspersonal #theocho #serveweek2024

In a world with abundant resources, it's disheartening to know that millions of people, including children, go to bed hungry every day. Food insecurity is a pressing global issue that demands immediate attention. At ExtraFood, we believe in the power of youth to drive positive change. That's why we're working to inspire young people to get involved in our food recovery efforts while educating them about food insecurity and wasted food. Besides volunteering, there are ways that young people can get involved in their school and community. Together, we can make a difference, one meal at a time. Join us in the fight against hunger and food waste today: https://lnkd.in/g-spwdkW

Health Benefits of Nature Green Tea Green tea offers a range of potential health benefits, primarily due to its rich content of antioxidants and other compounds. Here are some of its advantages: 🍵 Antioxidant Properties: Green tea contains catechins, which are natural antioxidants that help in combating cell damage caused by free radicals, reducing oxidative stress and lowering the risk of chronic diseases. 🍵 Heart Health: Some studies suggest that green tea may reduce the risk of heart diseases by improving blood vessel function, lowering cholesterol, and decreasing blood pressure. 🍵 Weight Management: Green tea might aid in weight loss and weight management by boosting metabolism and aiding in fat burning. However, its effects can be modest and may vary among individuals. 🍵 Reduced Risk of Certain Cancers: Some research indicates that the antioxidants in green tea may help lower the risk of certain cancers, such as breast, prostate, and colorectal cancers. 🍵 Improved Dental Health: The catechins in green tea have antibacterial properties that may help inhibit the growth of bacteria and viruses in the mouth, potentially lowering the risk of infections and improving dental health. 🍵 Lowered Risk of Type 2 Diabetes: Green tea may improve insulin sensitivity and reduce blood sugar levels, which could lower the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. 🍵 Potential Anti-inflammatory Effects: Some studies suggest that green tea may have anti-inflammatory properties, which could help in reducing inflammation in the body. It's important to note that while green tea offers these potential benefits, individual responses can vary, and excessive consumption might have adverse effects. Moderation is key, and it's always a good idea to consult a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or lifestyle.
